Abstract:

To detect a magnetic body with high accuracy by removing an influence of a noise from a signal by a large Barkhausen effect, in a magnetic body detection device for detecting magnetic field fluctuation due to the generation of sudden magnetization inversion of the magnetic body in an alternating field, to thereby detect that the magnetic body exists in a magnetic field.

This device is equipped with an exciting coil 11 for forming the alternating field having a prescribed frequency, a detection coil for detecting fluctuation of the magnetic field formed by the excitation coil, and a signal processing means 14 for detecting the magnetic body generating a large Barkhausen effect in the magnetic field, based on a detection signal from the detection coil 12. In the signal processing means, a pulse extraction circuit 21 extracts a pulse signal S2 from the detection signal, and a rectangular pulse generation circuit 22 outputs a rectangular pulse signal S3 by using the pulse signal S2 as a trigger. A logic sum of the rectangular pulse signal and a signal S4 delayed by a delay circuit 23 is output by a logic circuit 31. The output S5 may be integrated by an integration circuit 32.
