PURPOSE: To remove a bucket wheel, a mixer, etc., which mixes and supplies supply toner and a developer to a developing roller and the high-height constitution part of a developing device and to reduce the size and cost of the device on the whole by providing an upper auger and the 1st and the 2nd augers.
CONSTITUTION: A developer 5 received on a receiving plate 6 is conveyed to the 1st opening part 11 provided at one end side of the receiving plate 6 by the upper auger 7 to fall from the 1st opening part 11, and then supplied to the developing roller 3 by the 1st lower auger 8. At this time, the developer 5 supplied to the developing roller 2 is agitated uniformly on the receiving plate 6 by the upper auger 7 and then supplied. Therefore, electrostatic charging characteristics are superior and a toner image corresponding to the electrostatic charge of a latent image on a photosensitive drum 1 is formed, so that copy density and copy picture quality are held constant for a long period.
