Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a magnetic reader writer which can easily deal with the change of the thickness of a magnetic card in a magnetic card reader writer which is provided with a mechanism for preventing a plurality of magnetic cards in layers from being inserted by mistake.
CONSTITUTION: The main body unit 30 of a magnetic card reader writer is divided into an upper unit 31 and a lower unit 32, and the upper unit 31 is rotated about a rotary shaft 34, thereby opening the upper unit 31 to expose the inside of the main body unit 30. In a magnetic card 1 inserting parts 24a. 24b, a slit 40 for regulating the thickness of an inserted magnetic card 1 is provided.
