Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic card transaction device capable of blocking the reading of a magnetic card inserted or ejected from a card slot.
SOLUTION: When a magnetic card is inserted to the magnetic card reader of the magnetic card transaction device, the taking-in operation of the magnetic card is started by starting a motor but in the state a part of the magnetic card is protruding from the card slot to the outside in this taking-in operation, the conveyance of the magnetic card is temporarily stopped (step ST3). Similarly, when ejecting the magnetic card, the conveyance of the magnetic card is temporarily stopped as well in the state part of the magnetic card is protruding from the card slot to the outside (step ST13).
