Abstract:

To provide a magnetic carrier for an electrophotographic developer, the carrier exhibiting excellent electric characteristics and stable electric resistance with respect to voltage and giving an image excellent in gradation, and to provide a two-component developer comprising a toner and the magnetic carrier for an electrophotographic developer.

The magnetic carrier for electrophotography comprises spherical magnetic composite particles obtained by dispersing black magnetic iron oxide particles in a binder resin, wherein an electric resistance value R100 at an applied voltage of 100 V is 1108 to 11014 cm and an electric resistance value R300 at an applied voltage of 300 V satisfies the relationship represented by 0.1R300/R1001.
