Abstract:
To provide a magnetic composite particles, a magnetic carrier for electrophotographic developer, and a developer which are effective for reducing environmental impact, such as contribution to the securement of underground resources and prevention of global warming, are safe for the human body, are highly durable, and can develop high quality images.
The magnetic composite particles comprise at least fine magnetic particles and a bio-based polymer and has an average particle diameter of 10 to 100 μm and contains 50 to 99 wt.% of fine magnetic particles in the magnetic composite particles. There are provided the magnetic carrier, and the developer.
