Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the subject economical magnetic composition composed of a mixture of magnetic fluid and a polymer substance, easy to handle, excellent in safety and magnetic properties and useful, e.g. for a sizing agent, an adhesive, a coating material and a medicine in magnetotherapy and thermotherapy. CONSTITUTION:The objective magnetic composition is obtained, e.g. by blending (A) a magnetic fluid composed of a colloidal fluid of iron nitride fine particles with (B) a polymer substance composed of agar-agar or gelatin. In addition, the amount of the component (B) used is preferably 1 to 50 times the weight of the component (A).
