PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic substance/resin composition excellent in heat resistance, impact resistance and magnetic properties, by melt-blending a polytetramethyleneadipamide resin with a magnetic substance powder and a specified modified rubber polymer.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic substance/resin composition mainly comprises a polytetramethyleneadipamide resin (a), a rubbery polymer (b) and a magnetic substance powder (c), wherein the (a) to (b) weight ratio is 30W99/70W1, and 50W500pts.wt. component (c) is present per 100pts.wt. total of components (a) and (b), and produced by the following process (i), (ii) or (iii): (i) a process comprising melt-blending a rubbery polymer (b') modified with a compound (d) having at least one functional group selected from among an epoxy group, an acid anhydride group, a carboxyl group and an amino group with component (a) and component (c), (ii) a process comprising melt-blending component (a) with component (b) and compound (d) and further melt-blending the obtained mixture with component (c), and (iii) a process comprising simultaneously melt- blending component (a), component (b), component (c) and compound (d) together.
