Abstract:
To provide a magnetic coupling type coil component capable of suppressing a change in a coupling coefficient due to current applied to a coil conductor.SOLUTION: A magnetic coupling type coil component 1 includes a magnetic base 11, an upper cover layer 18a provided on the upper surface of the magnetic base 11, a lower cover layer 18b provided on the lower surface of the magnetic base 11, a first coil conductor 25a having an upper coil surface 26a and provided in the magnetic base 11 such that at least the upper coil surface 26a is in contact with the upper cover layer 18a, and a second coil conductor 25b having a lower coil surface 27b and provided in the magnetic base 11 such that at least the lower coil surface 27b is in contact with the lower cover layer 18b. The upper cover layer 18a has an upper first region overlapping the upper coil surface 26a of the first coil conductor 25a in plan view, and has a lower saturation magnetic flux density than the magnetic base 11 in at least the upper first region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
