Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an easily handleable magnetic detecting material useful for automatically detecting the revolution number of a base fabric to automatically control a needling process on the preparation of a needle felt by spreading fibrous magnetic materials in parallel on the surface of a sheet-like substrate.

CONSTITUTION: Fibrous magnetic materials are spread in parallel on the surface of a sheet-like substrate to provide the objective detecting material which can be adhered to a base fabric and detected with a magnetic sensor to detect the revolution standard position of the base fabric. For example, fibrous magnetic materials 21 comprising amorphous metal fibers having a diameter of 30μm are spread in parallel on one surface of a sheet-like substrate 19 comprising a double coated tape and an adhesive portion on the other surface of the detecting material prepared thus is adhered to a base fabric.
