Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a magnetic head to move without interfering with an opening for magnetic head insertion by forming the opening for magnetic head insertion whose front end part is overlapped with a guide groove and in which the guide groove is formed by being notched largely. SOLUTION: An opening 21 for magnetic head insertion extending from the front edge to the center part in a rectangular shape is provided on lower and upper planes of a case 2 and the front end part of the opening for magnetic head insertion 21 of the lower plane is overlapped with a guide groove 22 and the guide groove 22 is formed by being notched in the opening 21. A shutter member 3 which is slidable from right to left is assembled at the front part of the case 2 in order to open and close the opening for insertion 21. This shutter member 3 is communicated with the opening for magnetic head insertion 21 opened at the upper and lower planes of the case 2 to make the opening 21 openable in a fully opened state. The access of a magnetic head can be performed even to the outermost peripheral part of a magnetic media 6 by making the opening 21 for magnetic head insertion 21 opened in the case 2 so that the opening length along an inserting direction of it is formed long.
