The magnetic disk device has a magnetic disk in which magnetic information is recorded, the magnetic head slider 1 having a pneumatic bearing surface to approximately surface from the magnetic disk and a rotary actuator which circularly moves on a disk while supporting the magnetic head slider 1 by suspension. The magnetic head slider 1 loads a recording element 2 which records the magnetic information in the magnetic disk, a reproduction element 3 which reproduces the magnetic information recorded in the magnetic disk and a plurality of heating elements 4a, 4b which locally heat the magnetic disk and a circuit for switching energization to the plurality of heating elements 4a, 4b by information such as the direction of a DC power source VH or frequency, etc. included in an AC power source is formed.
