Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent dust generated in an actuator installing part from entering into the side of a magnetic disk mounting part by supplying air along an isolating means for isolating the magnetic disk mounting part from the actuator installing part and forming an air circulation passage. CONSTITUTION:A swirl flow 33 to be generated by a fan 16 is straightened by a straightening net 17 to flow a passage 18 along an isolation wall 13. In this case, an opening part 14 formed on the isolation wall 13 is shut by this airflow. Consequently, a stream line 32 including dust generated by a ball bearing 6 is flowed in the passage 18 induced by the airflow, and is carried to a passage 19 on the downstream side. By this method, this is not involved in making a mixed flow with a stream line 31 to be induced by the rotation of the magnetic disk 2, so that the dust can perfectly be prevented from entering into the side of the magnetic disk mounting part 11. Then, an airflow flowing in the passage 18 has an action as a shutter film for shutting the opening part 14, and at the same time, an IC group 24 coupled with a guide arm 5 can be prevented from heating up.
