Abstract:
PURPOSE:To set the dislocation of a magnetic disk in the same direction by increasing the surface pressure owing to the tightening force of a large diameter volt with the use of volts having different diameters, and decreasing the surface pressure owing to the tightening force of the small diameter volt. CONSTITUTION:The small diameter volts 11A-11C are disposed at positions symmetric with the disposing positions of the large diameter volts 9A-9C with respect to straight lines Y1-Y2, which intersect orthogonally with straight lines X1-Xn, through a spindle shaft 23. When the temperatures of a base 1 and a housing 21 are raised due to the heat produced by the load current of a spindle motor 2 or the heat caused by a mechanical loss arising from a bearing, the slide of a joint part 8A between the base 1 and the housing 21 occurs always at the side of the small diameter volt, because the tightening force of the large diameter volt is larger than that of the smaller diameter volt. Thus the direction and quantity of the slide in the joing part becomes always constant, thereby obtaining a highly accurate device.
