Title:
MAGNETIC DUST CORE FOR HIGH FREQUENCY REGION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61288403
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the eddy-current loss and to enhance the density of saturated magnetic flux of the title magnetic dust core when it is used in the region of frequency of 1kHzW4MHz by a method wherein a specific epoxy resin is added to the pure iron powder of specific grain size obtained by an atomizer.

CONSTITUTION: An atomel 300M, for example, is used as the pure iron powder of 60 mesh or below obtained by an atomizer. Epoxy resin of 3W5vol.% is used as the additive to the pure iron powder. After the above-mentioned two materials are mixed, a diluting agent is evaporated by performing an air drying method. After zinc stearate powder is added to said mixture as a lubricant and they are molded by applying pressure, then a hardening process is performed. If phenol resin of 1W5vol.% is added instead of the above-mentioned epoxy resin, it can be used in the high-frequency region of 1W100kHz. As a result, an eddy current loss can be reduced in the high-frequency region of 1kHz or above, thereby enabling to increase the density of saturated magnetic flux.
