Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic encoder which enables improvement of the sealability of a fitting part between a slinger and an inner ring and maintains the productivity at a level equivalent to a conventional magnetic encoder, and to provide a rolling bearing.SOLUTION: A magnetic encoder includes: a slinger 20 including a cylindrical part 20a, which fits on a rotor 11, and a flange part 20b extending from the cylindrical part 20a to the radial outer side; and a magnetic part 21 which is attached to an outer surface of the flange part 20b of the slinger 20 by an adhesive, magnetized in a multipolar manner in a circumferential direction, and has a substantially toric shape. An annular recess part 20f which continues into the outer surface of the flange part 20b is formed on an inner peripheral surface 20e of the cylindrical part 20a. The magnetic part 21 includes a protruding part 22 which is extended to the annular recess part 20f and protrudes to the inner diameter side relative to the inner peripheral surface 20e of the cylindrical part 20a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
