Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable calculating magnetic field accurately, easily and in a short time even for a complicated coil shape by dividing the coil surface into approximated polygons, especially triangles and integrating each area for surface element.
CONSTITUTION: Coil surface is separated into polygons, especially triangles and current density spectrum J (A/m) flowing in the coil and coordinates of a calculation point 9 in the polygons are input to obtain magnetic fields H (A/m) with an equation, H=1/4πξs(n×J)/γXdS (where γ(m): distance from the coil surface to the calculation point P 9, S: surface area of coil region 7, n: unit radial vector against the surface area S, D: length of current element 8). By this, the magnetic fields are easily calculated even for a complicated coil shape.
