Title:
MAGNETIC FIELD TYPE ELECTRON LENS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58225551
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate the design of the whole of a lens coil while enabling said coil to be formed using a thin wire by arranging a plurality of said coils to form a single magnetic circuit and connecting said coils in prallel with each other to a lens power source.

CONSTITUTION: The number of turns of each of coils 9, 10 is the same, and a wire of the same material (e.g., copper) and the same diameter is used for said coils. And, said coils are connected in parallel with each other to the output of a stabilized power source 14, and a switch 15 for connection is provided between one lens coil 10 and the power source 14. A case of using the two lens coils connected in parallel in such a way and a case of using a lens coil made of a single thick wire are quite equivalent to each other in terms of an electric circuit, but the wire diameter of any lens coil in the former can be made about 0.7 times. Hereby, coil winding processing and a lens case design, etc., are facilitated, allowing any device to be minaturized.
