PURPOSE: To exert efficiently a magnetic flux generated from a coil on filter media by unifying magnetically magnetic circuit members at the outside and the inside of a vessel.
CONSTITUTION: Magnetic circuit members 12 and 13 are opposed to each other in a vessel 1 with filter media 9 in-between, and magnetic circuit members 18 and 19 are arranged with a coil 17 at the outside of the vessel 1 in between. The respective magnetic circuit members at the inside and the outside of the vessel 1 are magnetically unified with a magnetic field coupling piece 21. Consequently, when magnetic particles contained in a fluid passing through the inside of the vessel 1 are separated from the fluid, a magnetic flux generated from the coil 17 can be exerted on the filter media 9 with small magnetic resistance, and the proportion of the magnetic flux utilized for the attraction of the magnetic particles in the filter media 9 to the magnetic flux generating capacity of the coil 17 can be increased. And since the magnetic circuit members 13 and 19 at the inside and the outside can be easily and mechanically separated, the exchange or the inspection of the filter media 9 can be easily carried out.
