Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to measure blood viscosity in real time, by floating a movable element by a magnetic bearing in liquid, changing the floating position of the movable element stepwise by a viscosity measuring means, and measuring the viscosity of the liquid from response time of the movable element at that time.
SOLUTION: Output of a PID circuit 21, a compensation circuit, is current- amplified by an amplifier 22 to control an electromagnet 13. Here, an equation 1/(Ms2-Kf) is the transmission function to express the control phenomenon of the magnetic bearing, and the symbol Cs is the viscosity attenuation force when the movable element is floated in liquid, A signal generator 31 of a signal processor 30 dispatches stepwise signals with a constant potential, adds those signals to a movable element floating position signal to change the movable element floating position by the electric signals. Since the speed of the change receives influence of the attenuation coefficient, CPU 32 calculates the liquid viscosity from the preliminarily obtained relation between the movable element response time and the viscosity.
