PURPOSE: To increase the flowing velocity of magnetic fluid in a pipe in which the magnetic fluid flows and to generate a rotary motion at a turbine by setting the direction of magnetic fluid flow in parallel with the direction of a magnetic field.
CONSTITUTION: An air gap 2 is formed in a pipe 3 filled with magnetic fluid 1 to form a loop, and a cooler 7 and a heater 8 are mounted. When a magnetic field unit 5 is provided between the cooler 7 and the heater 8, the fluid 1 flows from low temperature side to high temperature side in the pipe 3. A turbine 4 is rotated by the force generated by this flow to produce kinetic energy. The magnet of the unit 5 in this case is disposed in the same direction as the flow of the fluid 1 in its magnetic field.
