Title:
MAGNETIC FORCE ROTARY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3713327
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rotate a rotary unit more smoothly, and obtain a torque which is large enough to be applied to an actual vehicle, etc., from the rotary unit.
SOLUTION: A 1st rotary unit 4a which is attached to a 1st rotary shaft 2a so as to be able to rotate, a 2nd rotary unit 4b which is attached to a 2nd rotary shaft 2b which is parallel with the 1st rotary shaft 2a and a gearing means by which both the rotary units 4a and 4b are turned in the directions opposite to each other are provided. U-shaped permanent magnets 7a and 7b are arranged on the respective outer circumferential parts of the rotary units 4a and 4b in circumferential directions with certain intervals. When the 1st and 2nd rotary units 4a and 4b are geared with each other and turned, the facing poles of respective rotary units 4a and 4b are so arranged as to have the same polarity and to be made to face closely to each other periodically and the poles of the 1st rotary unit 4a rotate a little ahead of the poles of the 2nd rotary unit 4b. By switching the current application to electromagnets, the rotary units are started and braked.
