PURPOSE: To prevent accuracy in a fuel injection quantity from getting worse and so on, by forming an interval, ranging from an inlet part of a core forming a fuel passage of a fuel injection valve to an adjuster regulating the fuel injection quantity, into such a fuel passage that is constant in a variation of its passage sectional area.

CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection valve is provided with a plunger 2 being influ enced by which a magnetic coil is energized with a continuous rating current, while a seat part 8 is opened by the needle 10 solidly joined with the plunger 2 by displacement of this plunger 2, and fuel is sprayed out of a nozzle hole at the tip of a nozzle 9. The fuel is led into the end of a core 5 provided with a filter 11 from a fuel pump (unillustrated herein) via a regulator. In this case, in order to prevent a turbulent flow from occurring in a flow of fuel inside a fuel inflow part 12 at the end of the core 5, the inside of the core 5 is formed into a taper form, and an adjuster 6 is set up so as to be situated in the more downstream than this taper part of the core 5. With this constitution, reduction in a fuel pressure variation of the fuel inflow part 12 is promoted.
