Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head device, whose cost is capable of being reduced by reducing the quantity of a flexible printed circuit board and which is capable of ensuring a satisfactory mounting workability.
SOLUTION: A wiring member 21 performing a signal transfer among the arithmetic part of a magnetic disk device land upper and lower head 2U, 2D is constituted of one FPC(flexible printed circuit boad) 10K and PCB (general-purpose circuit board) 20. Cost reduction can be attained as compared with the case of constituting the entire wiring member with the FPC by using an inexpensive PCB in one part of the member 21. Moreover, since the connection among the arithmetic part of the disk device and the upper and lower heads 2U, 2D is performed by constituting a wiring member 21 from the FPC and the PCB, mounting workability is improved as compared with in the conventional technology using two wiring members. Furthermore, since flexible parts become few in the wiring member and becomes easier to suppress deflective deformations at the time of a mounting, mounting workability is improved.
