Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress the oscillation phenomenon by enhancing the rigidity by using a ceramic material for a material of a servo-head. CONSTITUTION:When a ceramic material is used as a material of a servo-head, rigidity in the same shape is enhanced, and a resonance frequency of a magnetic head arm becomes higher, comparing with the case when an aluminium alloy or a magnesium alloy is used. In such a way, the magnetic head driving device of high reliability which suppresses an abnormal oscillation phenomenon and can execute a stable track follow-up operation is obtained.
