In a magnetic head device used in a floppy disk drive, a part of the conductive gimbal spring 2 itself constituting the magnetic head device is formed into a wiring pattern 4, and moreover an insulating material 6 such as resin and the like having flexibility is filled into the gap between the wiring pattern 4 and the gimbal spring 2. Thus, the man-hour in assembling is reduced because a parallel pair cord is not required and the followup ability of the magnetic head 1 is also improved because rigidity of the gimbal spring 2 does not become high.
