Abstract:
To allow a life of a magnetic head to be extended and replacement frequency of the magnetic head to be reduced.SOLUTION: A magnetic head polishing card 1 for maintaining a magnetic head is configured to comprise a magnetic stripe 2 on which data is written with a weak output to check reading by the magnetic head, and one or more abrasive grain adhesive films 3 and 4 containing abrasive grains for polishing the magnetic head. In the magnetic head polishing card 1, the magnetic stripe 2 is formed so as to extend in a predetermined direction, and the abrasive grain adhesive films 3 and 4 may be formed so as to extend in a direction parallel to the magnetic stripe 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
