Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically connect a connection terminal part to a terminal part on a support base and to enhance the productivity by using a machine by providing a bulgy conductive body on a mounting face to a support base of one of a pair of core materials to be bonded in one body and on a non- parallel side face, and using a cross-sectional face in the direction of thickness as a parallel connection terminal part parallel to the surface of the terminal part of the support base.
SOLUTION: A pair of conductive bodies is formed to be bulhy from a bonding surface of a shielding core 2. The pair of conductive bodies is cut in the direction of thickness when a MR head 1 is cut for each chip, and each cross-section is used as a pair of connection terminal parts 17, 18. The MR head 1 is bonded to a head base 21 by using a surface approximately parallel to a side face of the head as a bonding face. Thus, the connection terminal parts 17, 18 of the MR head 1 and terminal parts 22, 23 of the head based 21 are brought almost into a parallel positional relation, which facilitates to establish connections between the connection terminal parts 17, 18 and terminal parts 22, 23 by using an automatic connecting device such as a wire bonding device, etc.
