Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain stable signal reproduction and recording, by clipping a magnetic disc with a pair of magnetic heads from upper and lower directions, and using a moving coil type actuator driven by a step motor. CONSTITUTION:When a stepping motor 16 is started, a carriage 23 is advanced via a belt 29 belted on a pulley 32. In advancing the carriage 23, a DC current flows to a moving coil 24 to adsorb a diaphragm 37 to a magnetic circuit 25, i.e., a center pole piece 27, and upper and lower heads 18a, 18b fixed to upper yoke 18 and a lower yoke 19 are coupled with the circuit 25 with rigidity. Since the circuit 25 is fixed on the carriage 23, the while actuator is advanced in stepwise as a rigid body.
