Title:
MAGNETIC INK JET RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57210867
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate multiplication of a magnetic field generating means and to enable to perform a high-speed recording through bringing it to a high density, by a method wherein, with a first magnetic field turned ON and OFF, a minute displacement of a flight ink drop is changed, and is amplified by a second magnetic field.

CONSTITUTION: An ink jet head 1 consists of a liquid chamber, a nozzle plate 3, and electrostriction vibrator 2, if a high-frequency sine wave is inputted to the vibrator 2, an ink liquid column 13 is regularly cut and jetted in an ink drop 14 from a nozzle, and through control of a turning ON and OFF of a first magnetic head 11, the drop is selectively deflected in an A-direction to form a deflecting ink drop 14a and an undeflecting ink drop 14b. A flying ink drop, being not deflected through its passage in the proximit of a second magnetic head 2, flies in a B-direction, other drops perform a printing on a recording paper 4, the ink drop in the B-direction can be collected to an ink tank, and this facilitates multiplication of the magnetc head and enables to perform a high-speed recording through bringing it to a high density.
