Title:
MAGNETIC MARKER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11168007
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a magnetic marker capable of realizing simplified and low cost installation and executing work, without deteriorating the function of the magnetic marker as a magnetism generating device in a magnetic marker used in an automobile magnetic induction system or in a magnetic alarm or warning system.

This magnetic marker is a flat-shaped magnetic marker 7, wherein a magnet has a shape in which a ratio D/H of a major axis D of a flat surface to a height H thereof us not less than 2, and the magnetic poles of the magnet are formed on both ends in the height direction thereof. A magnet 71 consists of anisotropic magnetic powder the maximum magnetic energy multiplied by (BH) max is not less than 30 MGOe and a binder material consisting of resin, an inorganic material, or a low melting point metal material, etc. The main component of the anisotropic magnetic powder is magnetic powder the average grain size of which is set to not less than 500 νm.
