Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a magnetic material inspection device capable of accurately detecting defects in magnetic material.
CONSTITUTION: A recess 2 into which a rotor magnet 6 is inserted is provided in the upper part of a cylindrical holding portion 1, and a through hole 3 is provided at the center of the recess 2. Pressure within the through hole 3 is set so that it is negative with respect to ambient pressure. A detecting coil 4 is wound around the recess 2, and an exciting dummy coil 5 is wound around the lower portion of the detecting coil 4. A magnetic field generated from the rotor magnet 6 by excitation of the dummy coil 5 is detected by the detecting coil 4.
