Abstract:
To reduce the leakage magnetic field from a reference layer which acts on a recording layer.
A magnetic memory includes: a first magnetic layer 12 which has magnetic anisotropy perpendicular to a film surface and in which polarization direction is variable; a second magnetic layer 14, which has magnetic anisotropy normal to the film surface and in which the polarization direction is invariant; a reluctance element 10, which has a nonmagnetic layer 13 sandwiched between the first magnetic layer 12 and the second magnetic layer 14; and a bias magnetic field layer 16 which has magnetization parallel to the second magnetic layer 14 and surrounds the reluctance element 10.
