To provide an easy-to-use and small-cost paper folder that saves trouble in aligning paper sheets to be folded in half and giving pressure to them, lessens the force required to press the paper sheets down, and hindering the paper sheets from being stained by fingers or desks.
The magnetic paper folder comprises a base 2 with a magnetic plate 1 stuck on its top, a cover 3 of a magnetic and elastic plate that attracts or is attracted by the magnetic plate 1, a flat rail-shaped plate 4 to which one end of both magnetic plates 1 and 3 are glued with an interval placed therebetween, a handle 5 stuck on the top of the cover 3 along the side opposed to the rail-shaped plate 4, and a stop plate glued to the upper edge of the base 2. The inclination of the top of the base 2, together with the rail-shaped plate 4 and stop plate, facilitates the end alignment of paper sheets, as well as the magnetic force that the cover 3 produces when lowered down, to which gravity is added, lessens the force required to be applied to a fold of the paper sheets with both ends thus well aligned.
