Abstract:
To provide a new glass-surface particle preparation effective for purifying nucleic acid.
The preparation comprises particles having a glass surface, wherein >75 wt.% of the particles have 5-15 μm particle size, the glass surface comprises 2-6 mol% oxide of SiO2, B2O3, K2O, CaO, Al2O3 and ZnO and the preparation is extremely efficient in a method for purifying the nucleic acid. The preparation increases nucleic acid yield.
