Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the stability of a synchronous machine, by obtaining quadrature-axis transient reactance by interlinking quadrature-axis magnetic flux and field winding by connecting the field winding at the sides reverse to the winding-starting sides of the adjacent magnetic-pole cores of the salient-pole synchronous machine to the magnetic-pole cores. CONSTITUTION:Field winding 12 is successively wound on adjacent magnetic-pole cores 10a-10c with different poles, etc. in such a manner that a winding-end end portion is drawn at the side reverse to a winding-starting end portion, and supplied to the adjacent second magnetic-pole core, winding is wound in the direction opposite to the first magnetic-pole core, a winding-end end portion is drawn at the side reverse to a winding starting end portion and this operation is repeated in order. Thus, quadrature-axis magnetic flux phiq is interlinked with the field winding 12, this circuit functions as a secondary circuit to a quadrature axis, quadrature-axis transient reactance Xq' to quadrature-axis reactance Xq is gained and the stability of a synchronous machine can be improved under a condition of Xq'< Xq.
