Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic powder capable of exhibiting high magnetic permeability and excellent Q characteristics, and to provide an inductor containing this magnetic powder.SOLUTION: Magnetic powder contains core powder 1a having magnetic characteristics, and an isolating layer 1b arranged on the surface of core powder. The isolating layer contains a high polymeric material, and is arranged so that the inside is in contact with the surface of the core powder. Furthermore, the entire surface of the core powder is covered with the isolating layer, and the isolating layer is a single layer. The inductor includes a body including a coil, and an external electrode arranged on the external surface of the body. The body contains core powder having magnetic characteristics in the matrix of the high polymeric material, and the core powder is isolated from adjacent core powder by the high polymeric material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
