PURPOSE: To suppress the cost and the occupying area with a substrate by using an H/2 delay element in common for normal speed reproduction and variable speed reproduction and using one switching circuit in common in place of two switch circuits.

CONSTITUTION: When no dropout is generated at the normal speed reproduction, a reproduced FM signal 1 is outputted as the normal speed reproduction output signal 3 through the 1st switching circuit 23 connected to a terminal A. If dropout takes palce, it is detected by a DO detecting circuit 21, and when its detecting signal is inputted to a switch drive circuit 22, the 1st switching circuit 23 is selected from the terminal A to the terminal B position. Further, the reproduced FM signal 1 is inputted to the 1st H/2 delay element 5A, where the signal is delayed by 1/2 horizontal period. At the variable speed reproduction, the reproduced FM signal 1 delayed by 1/2 horizontal period at the 1st H/2 delay element 5 is inputted to an H/2 correcting circuit 4 via the 2nd switching circuit 10 selected to the terminal D position.
