This magnetic recorder is provided with a hopper part 3 for housing supplementary tickets, a supplementary ticket delivery device 4 for delivering the supplementary tickets housed in the hopper part 3, a first carrier 9 for carrying the supplementary tickets from the delivery device 4, an encoding part 6 provided with a magnetic head for reading and writing the magnetic data from/to the supplementary tickets carried from the carrier 9, a second carrier 17 for carrying them from the encoding part 6, a thermal head 8 for printing the surface of the supplementary ticket carried by the carrier 17 and a supplementary ticket outlet part 13 for discharging the supplementary tickets from the thermal head 8. The carrying routes of the respective first carrier 9 and second carrier 17 are arranged separately for equal to or more than the length of the supplementary ticket.
