Abstract:
PURPOSE:To remove a cylinder and a loading device and to realize a compact device by executing the reciprocating motion of a magnetic head while the magnetic head is brought into contact with a magnetic tape on a linear motor, and reversing a time base according to the direction, in which the magnetic head moves, for a signal to be recorded. CONSTITUTION:A head 3 is moved by a linear motor 2 and executes a reciprocating scanning between a point 46 and a point 47. The scanning speed of the head 3 is made constant between a point 41 and a point 42. Since the head 3 reverses a scanning direction between the point 41 and the point 47 and between the point 42 and the point 47, the motion is executed in such an order as decelerating stopping reversing of the scanning direction accelerating. A signal processing circuit 4 adds a signal to FM-modulate the luminance signal of an input signal 8 and a signal to low-area-convert the chrominance signal of the input signal 8 and outputs an output signal 15 to a signal reversing circuit. A signal reversing circuit 5 outputs the output signal 15 of the signal processing circuit 4 in a shape to be shown by 14 in the figure. Then, the output of the signal reversing circuit 5 is amplified by a recording amplifier 7, after that, inputted to the head 3 and recorded to a tape 1.
