PURPOSE: To improve traveling stability, wear resistance and durability under various use conditions, more particularly under high-temp. and high-humidity conditions by adding a compd. having hydroxyl groups at a specific ratio to a fluorine lubricating agent such as perfluorocarboxylate or perfluorosulfonate.
CONSTITUTION: A thin magnetic metallic film 2 is deposited and formed on a nonmagnetic base 1 and the lubricating agent 3 essentially consisting of the perfluorocarboxylate and the compd. having ≥2 hydroxyl groups or the perfluorosulfonate and the compd. having ≥2 hydroxyl groups in deposited on this thin magnetic metallic film. This lubricating agent exhibits a good lubricating effect under all use conditions and decreases the coefft. of friction. The lubricating agent contains the hydroxyl groups and is, therefore, particularly effective at and under the high temp. and high humidity. The traveling property is improved by the lubricating effect of the above-mentioned lubricating agent and the compd. having ≥2 hydroxyl groups. The durability is thereby improved as well.
