PURPOSE: To improve lubricity and wear resistance and durability by depositing a fluorine lubricating agent via an organo aluminum compd. which is first deposited on the surface of a magnetic layer on said surface thereby depositing and forming securely two lubricant layers having excellent lubricity on the surface of the magnetic layer.
CONSTITUTION: A fluorine lubricating agent is deposited via an organo aluminum compd. on the magnetic layer on a base plate. The organo aluminum compd. is dissolved in a suitable solvent such as toluene and the magnetic layer is immersed in the soln. or the soln. is coated or sprayed on the surface of the magnetic layer, on which a soln. prepd. by dissolving the fluorine lubricating agent in a suitable solvent such as freon is coated. If the coating is subjected to a heat treatment, for example, for 0.5hr at 70°C, the organo aluminum compd. is more securely deposited on the surface of the magnetic layer and durability and corrosion resistance are additionally improved. Such organo aluminum compd. is deposited within a range of 0.1W25mg/m2 and the fluorine lubricating agent within a range of 0.1W50mg/m2.
