Abstract:
PURPOSE:To introduce a time code to a household VTR by executing the time division of the control signal and the time code signal on a control track and recording them with a different signal level. CONSTITUTION:A frame signal S2 obtained by a frame signal separating means 2 is converted to a switching signal S3 having the period of a high level and a low level with a switching signal generating means 3 and a control signal S4 is generated by a control signal generating means 4. The signal S4 is inputted through a saturated recording means 6, a time code signal S5 is inputted through an unsaturated recording means 7 to a switching means 8, time-divided with the signal S3 and supplied to a control head 10. Thus, the time division recording of the signal S4 and the signal S5 onto a control track is executed, the recording level is recorded so that the signal S4 can be made larger and the signal S5 can be made smaller.
