Abstract:
PURPOSE:To grasp the contents of a tape in a short time and to simply search an objective program by recording a TOC screen and a tape position in the beginning of the tape to be wound. CONSTITUTION:Under the state of reproducing or recording the tape which is previously recorded, when a screen becomes almost to show the objective program, an operating button 14 of an operating panel 10 is pressed, so that a screen at this time and an address by a control signal are recorded in a memory 8 by a signal system block 6 and a control system control block 9. Subsequently, when reproducing or recording is ended, an operating button 15 is pressed, so that an area of a head part of the tape comes into effectiveness, where the information of the screen and the address in the memory 8 are recorded. At the time of reproducing, the user looks at the TOC screen, and the operating button 15 is pressed when a desired program is found, so that the tape is fed at high speed to a position of the program corresponding to this screen.
