Abstract:
To provide a magnetic recording and reproducing device capable of easily realizing the recording and reproducing function in magnetic tape cassettes and the recording and reproducing function of various disk media with one set of a device.
Two kinds of recording and reproducing media of a magnetic tape 15 and a recording and reproducing disk 18 can be recorded and reproduced with one set of a device and the constituting parts of a motor and a control circuit or the like for a rotary drive can be used in common by making a capstan 40 to be used in common for recordings and reproductions of the magnetic tape 15 and the recording and reproducing disk 18.
