Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve a recording density and to make a recording and reproducing time more than two types by setting the position of a head on a rotating cylinder so as to make the form of a track of the head analog in a standard and a long time modes. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a magnetic head attached to a specific position on a rotating cylinder in which the relative position relation of central lines or one edge line of respective running tracks of the relation of central lines or one edge line of respective running tracks of the four specific magnetic heads on the rotating cylinder of a two channel component VTR changes in an analog manner with respect to the feed speed of plural magnetic tapes, namely at a central angle theta of the two magnetic heads and a relative height DELTAh and a driving system having the plural tape feed speeds. In the standard mode and the long time mode, a luminance signal can be recorded in an adjacent position to the luminance signal and a chrominance signal can be recorded in an adjacent position to the chrominance signal on a recording track pattern of the magnetic tape.
