Title:
MAGNETIC RECORDING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03130904
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable recording with high density by limiting the entrance of a magnetic flux to a vertical magnetic recording film by a superconducting film.

CONSTITUTION: A laser beam 111 is condensed by a lens 112 from the side of a superconducting film 116 in a recording medium and one part of the superconducting film 116 is heated. Then, the antimagnetism of a heated part 119 is eliminated or weakened and simultaneously, a magnetic field for recording is generated by a coil 113. A magnetic flux 120 passing through the heated part 119 passes through a vertical magnetic recording film 117, arrives at a magnetic field convergent panel 118, a magnetizes the recording film 117 and forms a recording magnetizing part 121. Out of the magnetic field generated by the coil 113, a magnetic flux 114 not passing through the heated part 119 of the superconducting film 116 is blocked by the antimagnetic property of the superconducting film 116 and can not enter the vertical magnetic recording film 117. Accordingly, the magnetic flux related to recording is only the magnetic flux 120 and the size of this magnetic flux can be controlled by the size of the heated part 119 in the superconducting film 116. Then, by reducing the heated part 119, a magnetic recording can be executed with extremely high density.
