Title:
MAGNETIC REFRIGERATION APPARATUS MAGNETIC WORKING SUBSTANCE AND MAGNETIC REFRIGERATION APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014227558
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic refrigeration apparatus magnetic working substance and a magnetic refrigeration apparatus that can produce sufficient magneto-caloric effect by having the main constituent element as Mn, and also make a production cost significantly low because of the non-use of rare-earth and thus can widely be applicable to consumer field.SOLUTION: A magnetic refrigeration apparatus magnetic working substance 1 is characterized by the chemical formula MnMB(where M is one or more than one elements selected from a group consisting of Sn, Al, Ga, Zn, Cu, Ag, and Ni, -0.2≤x≤0.2, -0.2≤y≤0.2, 0.5≤z≤1.5). Also a magnetic refrigeration apparatus is characterized to comprise: an AMR head 5 packed with the magnetic refrigeration apparatus magnetic working substance 1; a magnet 3 carrying out the application of magnet to the magnetic refrigeration apparatus magnetic working substance 1 and the removal therefrom; a high heat release unit 6 connected to a high-temperature end heat exchange unit 4; and a cold heat release unit 7 connected to a low-temperature end heat exchange unit 4'.
