Title:
MAGNETIC RESONANCE DETECTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3464024
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase a signal-to-noise ratio by combining a butterfly type surface coil onto the edge faces of a first coil device of a plural number of conductor loops united only to be inductive installed on a cylinder surface in parallel planes.
CONSTITUTION: First coil device is realized by conductive loops united only to be inductive to one another placed on several parallel planes on a cylindrical supporter 10. One of the loops is composed of a first coil made of the conductive loops possible to contact the input of a receiver device and able to detect the radio frequency magnetic field having a magnetic field direction parallel to the cylinder axis. The second coil device is formed as a butterfly type surface coil on the face extending straight beneath the lower edge face of the cylindrical supporter 10, and composed of two central conductors 12 installed in parallel and nearby to each other. The current running through them has the same direction against that of the current running through an outer conductor 13, capable of detecting the radio frequency magnetic field extending vertical to the cylinder 10 axis and to the central conductor 12 while the coil devices 11, 12, 13 are to function as right angle coils.
