Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus improved in quietness.SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes a magnetostatic field magnet 101, a gradient magnetic field coil 103, a cylindrical part 20 and ring parts 30a, 30b. The magnetostatic field magnet 101 is formed into an almost cylindrical shape. The gradient magnetic field coil 103 is formed into an almost cylindrical shape inside the magnetostatic field magnet 101. The cylindrical part 20 is formed into an almost cylindrical shape inside the gradient magnetic field coil 103, and has at least one layer of a sound absorption material layer absorbing sound and a sound insulation material layer insulating sound. The ring parts 30a, 30b cover a space between the magnetostatic field magnet 101 and the cylindrical part 20 at the end surfaces of an almost cylindrical magnet structure including the magnetostatic field magnet 101, the gradient magnetic field coil 103 and the cylindrical part 20, are each formed into an almost ring state, and have at least one layer of the sound absorption material layer and the sound insulation material layer.
